Arjan Vos, Board Chair
I am responsible to ensure that each Board Member has an opportunity to participate in the discussions of the Board in addition to encouraging each Board Member to fulfill their Board duties to the best of their God given abilities. |
Sean DeVries, Transportation
I am responsible for maintaining the bus fleet, purchasing new busses, making the routes for each year, dealing with the maintenance shop and helping the drivers when needed. |
Steph Beldman, Treasurer & Finance
I am responsible for fostering strong communication between the Board and our finance committee/ bookkeeper in order to be godly stewards of DCS’ finances and resources. |
Patricia DeKlerk, Fundraising
I am the liason between the Board and the fundraising committees (Booster Club, Bazaar and Community Relations) |
Levi Moesker, Building & Grounds
I am responsible for ensuring the school building and property are properly maintained. |
Teresa Smallman, Board Secretary
I am responsible for preparing the agenda for our meetings, taking minutes, keeping correspondence and documents organized and ensuring all Board information is clear and concise. |
Erica Hopman, Education
I am responsible to work with the Education committee to ensure that our students are receiving a quality education from a biblically grounded worldview, while caring for and advocating for our teachers, support staff and students needs. |
Kevin Heeg, Pillars Campaign
I am responsible for relaying information and offering support to the Pillars of Support campaign team. |
Karen Huizinga, Vice Chair & Governance
I am responsible to serve on behalf of the Board of Directors to ensure that the Board fulfils its legal, ethical and functional oversight of governance responsibilities through adequate policy development. |
